BUSI Curriculum Standards

This standard defines learning outcomes, completion rules, and facilitator delivery expectations for Program A and Program B through the BUSI philosophy: Bonding Using Stewardship and Integrity.

Program A

Anger Management Track

Structure: 5 modules, 10 recommended instructional hours, group or individual delivery.

Core Learning Objectives

Identify personal escalation triggers and de-escalation techniques through self-awareness.
Demonstrate integrity-based accountability language during conflict reflection.
Apply communication that protects dignity in family, workplace, and community settings.
Complete repair, restitution, stewardship, and future response planning.

Completion Criteria

Required sessions or hours documented.
Integrated fillable responses completed, including trigger map, accountability statement, cooling-off plan, and 30-day response plan.
Facilitator confirms participant can explain the skill and demonstrate a safer response plan.
Pre/Post assessment completed.

Open Program A

Program B

Faith & Community Track

Structure: 8 core sessions, 12 to 16 recommended instructional hours, with an optional 15-topic expansion bank.

Core Learning Objectives

Build stewardship habits for time, finances, relationships, and opportunities.
Strengthen faith-based decision-making, humility, accountability, and integrity.
Participate in community contribution that leaves people stronger.
Develop a 30-day personal restoration and stewardship plan.

Completion Criteria

Minimum 75% attendance of planned sessions.
Integrated fillable responses, workbook/reflection activities, and personal stewardship plan completed.
Community action, referral milestone, service step, or repair commitment documented.
Pre/Post assessment completed.

Open Program B

Facilitator Delivery Standard

Every session must include bonding, objective review, instruction, guided practice, and reflection closeout.
Every session must produce a case note with progress and next-step commitments.
Facilitators should listen before judging, connect skills to stewardship, and require integrity without shame.
High-risk flags must be escalated to leadership within 24 hours.
All completion decisions require facilitator signature and date.
